Image
That's the question. A very important one! Picture from Hui Lan Fang @ Taobao . This gown is soooo pretty!! Hey guys!  As titled. Today we will be talking about wedding gowns sold online! There are soooo many kinds of gowns sold online nowadays. Just search 婚纱 on Taobao and you will be spoilt for choices! There are also sites like Aliexpress (who is under Alibaba who also owns Taobao), Wish.com and JJ's House etc. Apart from the variety, gowns online are also very affordable. Almost dirt cheap at times. Which makes us worry about their quality... So... are they really worth it? Let's check it out. My Own Experience As an avid Taobao shopper, of course I tried purchasing some gowns on Taobao. My experience though... I had mixed feelings about it. I bought a white wedding gown and a coloured gown. Both through EZBuy Prime so my shipping was only $2.99. Without Prime, the shipping can get expensive as gowns are very heavy. I got bot

Hey all! Although this blog is not a food blog, but just wanted to share some great food I had recently! As a huge Japan lover who used to travel to Japan twice annually, I'm always in search of good Japanese food in Singapore to feed my tummy and soul. Especially now that I've stop travelling because I'm married and have a house to pay for. I'm lucky to have a Japanese street in a mall nearby to my work place. In B1 of Jurong Point, you can find a Japanese street with a variety of restaurants brought in by RE&S. They used to be known as Shokutsu-10, but they recently revamped, brought in new stores and is now known as &JOY Dining. Image from Japarang . These stores are mostly, if not all from Osaka. And Osaka, being named as the Kitchen of Japan, has lots of great food that is suitable for local Singaporean tastes buds. There a few stalls located in the dining hall area, which looks like a food court of their own. The stalls are Roman.Tei fo

Budget Brides Fall-in! Great Qoo10 & Daiso Finds For Wedding!

Hey all!  So sorry that there was a huge gap between my previous posts and this. I was in Vietnam for a business trip and did not bring my laptop along. As a continuation of my previous post where I introduced my Taobao haul of wedding items , I will be talking about the stuff I bought from Qoo10 and Daiso in this post. No time to waste! We have shopping to do! Let's go! Qoo10 Benefits of using Qoo10: Qoo10 is my go-to when I need something fast. Qoo10 sellers often use QExpress, which is Qoo10's very own delivery service and they really are fast! Secondly, it is also easier for non-Chinese speaking users to shop on Qoo10 as most sellers can communicate in English, especially if they are local sellers. And thirdly  Qoo10 often have coupons and you can also easily accumulate points for further discounts! (Note: Qoo10 items change rather fast so there is a chance that the link does not lead to the item anymore. But as of the time and date when I wrote the

Hi guys! I was shopping a lot during wedding prep (far from being a minimalist before my wedding) and thought I should introduce the items I got from Taobao, Qoo10 and Daiso which I thought were value for money and have high cost performance! For this particular post I will focus on 10 items I got on Taobao so it doesn't get too long. Then I'll talk about Qoo10 and Daiso on the next. Do note that again I have no affiliations with these vendors and am introducing them based on my experience. Taobao I've been shopping on Taobao for 11 years since 2008. I was in Hang Zhou for immersion and that was where I opened the pandora box of Taobao shopping. When I came back to Singapore, I started using the third party purchasing agent EZBuy. I was with them since they started and were called 65Daigou, and bought a Prime membership with them where I only pay $2.99 each time for shipping. Sometimes I also purchase directly with Taobao sellers when I can't find the i
